SOOK (Sabah, Malaysia), 16 Nov 2025 — In Sabah’s turbulent political landscape, where party-hopping, short-term populism, and external power plays dominate, UPKO emerges as the only local party that does not merely react but proactively shapes the state’s political future with integrity, principle, and strategic vision.
Under the leadership of Datuk Ewon Benedick, UPKO transcends its historical legacy to become the architect of a modern, principled politics anchored in the rights and voice of the people. Ewon does not bow to threats, succumb to elite bargaining, or compromise Sabah’s interests for short-term gain. He embodies the new political awakening: Sabah is not a territory to be directed; it is a polity to be respected and empowered.
UPKO is inseparable from Malaysia’s history. Its existence is not mere political nostalgia; it represents the very DNA of Sabah’s identity. Born from the struggle for autonomy, dignity, and the implementation of the Malaysia Agreement 1963, UPKO is rooted in defending the state’s rights—not chasing fleeting power or political expediency. While other parties engage in opportunistic maneuvers or transient populist appeals, UPKO has consistently defended Sabah’s voice, heritage, and future. Voting for UPKO in PRN-17 is therefore a vote for continuity, legitimacy, and the restoration of Sabah’s political sovereignty.
Ewon Benedick’s leadership signals a decisive shift in Sabah politics. He is not a product of media hype, dynastic privilege, or political theatrics, but of sustained public service, national administration experience, and international diplomacy. He inherits the courage of Tun Fuad Stephen but translates it into modern governance: disciplined, strategic, and respected even by political rivals.
This is the new face of Sabah politics: without anger, without theatrics, without deception—driven solely by principle, integrity, and strategy.
PRN-17 is not just an election; it is a referendum on Sabah’s trajectory for the next two decades. Citizens face a clear choice: continue the culture of bargaining, party-hopping, and personal ambition, or embrace stability, accountability, and long-term principled governance. Voters must ask: do other candidates genuinely serve Sabah’s interests, or merely their own agendas? Sabah is not a chessboard for external power games—it is the homeland of its people, whose voice, rights, and future must be preserved.
UPKO presents candidates tested by experience, rooted in communities, and committed to principle—not opportunists appearing only during elections or chasing fleeting popularity. Voting UPKO is voting for political honesty, measurable governance, and a sustainable future—not empty promises or populist rhetoric. The difference is tangible: UPKO works before office, serves before campaign posters, and leads without the need for propaganda. This is genuine politics, not stagecraft.
Sabah now stands at a critical crossroads: surrender the state to opportunistic parties seeking temporary power, or reinforce the mandate of a local party consistently championing Sabah’s rights and future. Now is the time to send an unequivocal message: Sabah is not a political experiment or a pawn for external agendas. PRN-17 must draw the line between manipulative politics and principled governance. Voting UPKO is a courageous, dignified, and visionary act—affirming that Sabah comes first, its people are heard, and the state’s power is returned to its rightful citizens.
Voting for UPKO is not a mere choice—it is a declaration that Sabah stands for integrity, principle, and a planned, accountable future. UPKO is not here to borrow power; it is here to return it to the people.
Sabah First.
Sabah with Dignity.
Sabah Belongs to Its People.
