KENINGAU (sabah, Malaysia), Sept 13 – More than 250 pupils, parents and teachers from Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bunsit in Bingkor joined a National Day and Malaysia Day parade on Saturday, ending at the Bandukan Riverside Resort.
Participants marched from the school while singing the Jalur Gemilang patriotic song, cheered on along the route.
They were welcomed on arrival by resort owner Rafie Datuk Robert, who also distributed food baskets to participants.
Rafie, who chairs the Keningau Tourism and Culture Committee, said the event not only fostered patriotism among pupils but also strengthened ties between the school, parents and the local community.
“We hope efforts like this will continue to ensure unity and prosperity are preserved for future generations,” he said. – By PAUL UKAU
