KOTA BELUD (Sabah, Malaysia), Aug 26, 2025 – Kadamaian state assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick has allocated RM150,000 for the construction of a Mini Grandstand at Kampung Nahaba field and the development of the SIB Church in the village.

Of the total, RM100,000 was channelled through the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) for the new grandstand, while RM50,000 came from Ewon’s Kadamaian constituency allocation for the church.

“Kampung Nahaba field is one of the most active in Kadamaian, including hosting the long-established NATESA Football Championship. This new grandstand is expected to add value to the surrounding community, including the Tamu Desa premises developed with funding from the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP),” he said.

He made the remarks during a working visit to inspect the construction site of the grandstand and church facilities on Tuesday, where he also announced an additional RM50,000 to complete the church facilities.

Ewon also inspected maintenance and upgrading works on a 90-metre-deep underground water pump by the Minerals and Geoscience Department Malaysia (JMG), aimed at ensuring sufficient water supply, particularly during the dry season.

Later in Kg Tegudon, he visited the expansion project of the SIB Church and contributed RM10,000 from his Kadamaian constituency allocation for the construction of a concrete floor at the additional church site, along with RM3,000 to the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) to repair the village’s suspension bridge.
